From Nashville, with vintage flair
Throwback pop with a modern wink
Tabitha Meeks has earned a reputation around Nashville as the queen of retro pop. Her songs borrow the bounce of girl-group radio and the warmth of a late-night piano bar, then add the kind of melodies that stay in your head for days. Her own team sums it up as Norah Jones meets Nancy Sinatra.
A lot of people met her through “Ready for Christmas,” her duet with Ryan Corn, which turned up in more than a million TikToks and Reels (Gwyneth Paltrow used it in one) and climbed iTunes charts around the world. Since then her music has been placed on Netflix, Hallmark, CBS, Peacock, Paramount+ and Amazon Prime, and she has played Bonnaroo four years running.
She brings her album Can’t a Girl Dream! to West Bend for two sets of piano-led retro pop, with upright bass and drums behind her. Expect sing-along hooks, big piano breaks and a show built to send you home in a better mood than you arrived.
