Warner Bros. – Movie History / Merger with Paramount
Chris Yogerst is an associate professor of communication at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and one of the country’s foremost historians of Warner Bros. He is the author of several books on Hollywood history, including The Warner Brothers, From the Headlines to Hollywood: The Birth and Boom of Warner Bros., and Hollywood Hates Hitler!. His writing has appeared in The Hollywood Reporter, The Washington Post and the Los Angeles Review of Books, among other publications. Yogerst will trace the story of Warner Bros. from its immigrant founders through today’s headline-making merger with Paramount.
The Bend Sessions Community Lecture Series runs from August 10th through November 24th and is a FREE event open to the public.
