Respect! A Tribute to The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin features a 10 piece orchestra fronted by the incomparable Da’Quela “Cookie” Payne. Her melodic voice is sure to take you on an emotional journey, as she puts her heart and soul into each note she sings. Crowned the most gifted Christian singer in America back in 2007 for a reality singing competition called “Gifted.” This victory earned her a major recording contract with EMI Gospel. Pushing her to audition for American Idol in 2011 where she went on to advance all the way to Hollywood where she made the top 100.
Respect! pays homage to the music of the late great, Aretha Franklin. The show features such Aretha classics as Think, Chain of Fools, Never Loved a Man, Dr. Feelgood, and many more!
