“In 2002, a small group of flute players began playing music together. That group evolved into a flute choir based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Adding flutists over time to reach their present size of 15 members, this local organization performs at public and private venues throughout southeastern Wisconsin. The group adopted its current name after Ms. Gutekunst, a founder, sadly passed away in 2010. Members feel her name, which means “Good Art” in German, is a fitting tribute to the talented musician and friend they lost. The group loves to make beautiful music in her memory.”
