DESCRIPTION:ORIGINS – A Fresh Singer-Songwriter Series\nSeptember 11th through November 13th\nOctober 2 – Genevieve Heyward \nGenevieve Heyward \nBIO: Genevieve Heyward is a Nashville based indie rock artist whose career has been nothing short of a whirlwind. With a knack for authentic lyrics and a witty sense of humor\, Genevieve has captivated audiences both nationally and internationally\, touring across the U.S. and Europe. After moving to Nashville only a year ago\, Genevieve’s 2024 single “Lame” was chosen as Lightning 100 Nashville’s DJ Pick of the Week and earned her a finalist spot at the station’s yearly best-of-the-best Music City Mayhem contest. She’s opened for well renowned artists such as Gayle (‘abcdefu’)\, Butch Walker\, Eric McFadden (George Clinton and P-Funk)\, Ethel Cain\, Willie Carlisle\, and Pat McDonald (‘Future’s So Bright I Gotta Wear Shades)\, with more in the works going into this year.\n\nHer music blends catchy lyrics with rock driven hooks\, reflecting on her experience of maneuvering life and making the most of the rollercoaster that comes with it. Her debut EP ‘Sprinkles’ was released this past fall.
