Kluck is a Wisconsin sports historian and frequent contributor to the Society for American Baseball Research. His first book\, Leave While the Party’s Good: The Life and Legacy of Baseball Executive Harry Dalton\, was named a finalist for the 2025 Seymour Medal\, one of the top honors in baseball literature. The book tells the story of Dalton\, architect of the Milwaukee Brewers’ only American League pennant in 1982 and a front-office career that also included stops with the Baltimore Orioles and California Angels. Kluck will share the story of the man many consider the first modern baseball executive. \nThe Bend Sessions Community Lecture Series runs from August 10th through November 24th and is a FREE event open to the public.\nNo ticket or registration required.
