DESCRIPTION:Blues Beatles\nPlaying Beatles songs with a Blues twist\n—————————————————————————————– \nDATE CHANGED to September 10th\nWhat happened? \nBlues Beatles\, was unable to acquire their United States Artist Visas/Passports in time to make their original early August show date at The Bend Theater. Fortunately\, the Blues Beatles band is sticking to their commitment to our community. They and the theater apologize to our supportive guests for any inconvenience this situation may cause. Through creative scheduling we were able to rework things a bit to reschedule the performance to September 10th at 7:30pm\, doors open at 6:30pm. \nHow does this effect August 6th ticket holders? \nAll ticket holders for the Blues Beatles show for the August 6th date will automatically transfer to Wednesday\, September 10th at 7:30pm\, with doors opening at 6:30pm. We look forward to seeing you at the show. Any guest unable to attend the new show date can transfer the tickets to another guest\, receive a credit for another event\, or\, in this rare case\, receive a refund for their purchase. Blues Beatles started during the breaks of the rehearsals of Today – an original band that Marcos Viana\, Flavio Naves\, Lancaster Ferreira\, Bruno Falcão and Fred Barley started in 2010. Marcos\, the singer\, would invariably pick up his acoustic guitar and start playing Beatles songs. The other members of the band were amazed at how natural the songs sounded\, as if he had written them himself. The reason for this was that Marcos really identified with the songs and never imitated John or Paul. He simply sang with his own voice and from his heart. Being blues players the rest of the band started adding their blues twist to these “break songs”. One day Lancaster said: “why don’t we mix these two things we love to play? We could call this Blues Beatles!”Everyone loved the idea and together they started the Blues Beatles in 2013.
