SUMMARY:Kody West w/ Special Guest (TBA)
DESCRIPTION:DAY 2 OF THE ORIGINAL COUNTRY GOLD ROWDY WEEKEND! Presented by: “Your Community Station” WTKM 104.9 FM & “The Original Country Gold” with Rowdy Yates. Texas country star Kody West hits The Bend Theater Friday\, Nov. 13 at 8 PM — general admission\, full bar\, tickets on sale now. \nGet Tickets \nWho Is Kody West?\nKody West grew up in Denton\, Texas\, listening to country legends like Johnny Cash. He picked up a guitar at nine years old and mostly taught himself to play. His first gigs weren’t fancy. He played taco shops and any bar with a patio that would give him a couple of hours. \nThen he did something smart. He took a job as tour manager for Texas artist Dalton Domino. He learned the music business from the inside — booking shows\, loading gear\, and watching how it’s done. Soon he was opening the shows himself. In 2016\, he released his first EP\, Higher Ground\, and fans took notice fast. \nHis 2017 debut album\, Green\, put him on the map alongside Texas country names like Koe Wetzel and Flatland Cavalry. Since then\, he’s released the albums Overgrown and Circles\, recorded a live album at the world-famous Billy Bob’s Texas\, and shared stages with Whiskey Myers\, Koe Wetzel\, and Charlie Robison. He and his band have played more than 400 shows across the country\, including plenty of sold-out rooms. \nHis sound mixes classic country storytelling with the crunch of late-’90s rock. One boot in the red dirt\, the other on a fuzz pedal. His songs rack up millions of streams because they feel real — songs about hard work\, heartbreak\, and hanging on. \n“We’ve been plugging away\, just playing shows ever since — just slowly growing.” — Kody West\nHear the New Single: “Oxygen”\nKody’s new single “Oxygen” is out now\, and it shows exactly where his sound is headed — big hooks\, raw vocals\, and lyrics that hit home. Watch the official music video below\, then picture hearing it live from just a few feet away. \n\nKody West — “Oxygen” (Official Music Video) \nTwo Fan Favorites You’ll Hear Live\n“Green”\nThe title track from his debut album. Fans know it by its chorus — “together but alone” — and they sing that line back at him at every show. It’s the song that turned listeners into a fan community. \n\nKody West — “Green” (from the album Green) \n“Million Miles”\nDark\, driving\, and built for a live crowd. “Million Miles” is one of his most-streamed songs and a highlight of every show. \n\nKody West — “Million Miles” (from the album Green) \nDo Your Homework Before the Show\nWant to sing along on November 13? Spotify has an official playlist called “This Is Kody West” with all his essential tracks in one place. Give it a few spins on your way to work this week. Find it on Kody West’s Spotify page\, along with the new single “Oxygen” and his full catalog. \nWhy You Should Be There\nKody West built his career on live shows. He’s played arenas and festival stages\, but a 360-seat room is where this music hits hardest. Every seat at The Bend is close to the stage. You’ll feel the drums in your chest and catch every word. \nHe’s also known as one of the most fan-friendly artists in Texas music. He’s the kind of performer who sticks around after the show to shake hands and say thanks. This is your chance to catch a rising star in an intimate room — before the venues get bigger and the tickets get harder to grab. \n\nShow Details\n\nDate Friday\, November 13\nShow 8:00 PM\nSeating General admission — arrive early for the best spot\nBar Full bar for all your beverage needs\nVenue The Bend Theater\, 125 N. SUMMARY:Dan Rodriguez "All I Want for Christmas Is Whiskey"
DESCRIPTION:Join us Friday\, December 11\, for an intimate evening with Minneapolis-based singer-songwriter Dan Rodriguez\, bringing his warm\, soulful brand of Americana to the historic Bend Theater stage. \nWhat to Expect \nDan’s live shows are built for listening — heartfelt storytelling\, rich acoustic arrangements\, and a voice that fills a room without needing to shout. Blending his soulful Americana sound with holiday favorites\, original songs\, and plenty of humor\, Rodriguez creates a show designed to make audiences laugh\, maybe shed a tear\, and leave feeling the holiday spirit. The set features his own arrangements of Christmas classics—including a rendition of White Christmas inspired by Willie Nelson—as well as original songs\, including the tour’s namesake\, All I Want for Christmas Is Whiskey. \nAbout Dan \nDan Rodriguez built his career in Minneapolis before trading city life for a homestead in a small Minnesota town\, where he now lives with his wife and their three homeschooled boys. When he’s not on the road or producing other artists in his home studio\, he’s likely out in the garden\, in the woods with his kids\, or tinkering with one of his many hobbies — photography\, bow hunting\, fly fishing\, woodworking\, beekeeping\, even restoring vintage motorcycles. \nThat grounded\, close-to-home way of living comes through in his music. Over the years he’s shared stages with acts like The Civil Wars\, NEEDTOBREATHE\, Andy Grammer\, Matt Nathanson\, Drew Holcomb\, Sister Hazel\, and more. His songs have found their way into television shows\, films\, and commercials — most notably when Budweiser featured his song “I’ll Be Waiting” in a national Super Bowl ad. \nWhy Come Out \nThis is a rare chance to catch an artist with major-stage credentials in a small\, historic room built for exactly this kind of night — no bad seats\, no wall of sound\, just a great songwriter and a room full of people paying attention. \nPlease note all ticket sales are final.\nPlease have tickets ready upon arrival.

DESCRIPTION:Live at The Bend · West Bend\, Wisconsin \nCherry Poppin’ Daddies \nTiki Xmas — A WWII Canteen Christmas \n\nDouble Platinum\n8-Piece Horn Band\nTwo 50-Minute Sets\nAll Ages\n\nThe horn section behind “Zoot Suit Riot” imagines what a Christmas radio broadcast beamed to soldiers at a USO show in the South Pacific might have sounded like in 1944 — Benny Goodman-style big-band holiday swing\, a Tiki torch lit underneath it\, and the Daddies dressed like grunts on shore leave. \n\n\n\nOne Night Only \nFriday \nDecember 18\, 2026 \n6:30 PMDoors\n7:30 PMShow\nGet Tickets \n\n\n\n\n\n“The Daddies’ high-energy swing music has the unique ability to bring generations together — it’s the only band where teenagers and grandparents are dancing in the same audience.” \nCBS 58\, Milwaukee \n\n\n\nHear It First \nWhat a 1944 South Pacific Christmas sounded like\nThe official trailer for the Tiki Xmas show itself — swing\, Tiki\, and a WWII USO broadcast all at once. \nCherry Poppin’ Daddies: Christmas Canteen \nThe official show reel. \n\n\n\nThirty-Five Years\, One Horn Section \nFrom a Eugene punk band to double platinum\, and back to the stage in period costume\nThe Cherry Poppin’ Daddies formed in Eugene\, Oregon in 1989\, a punk band that couldn’t help mixing in jazz\, funk and ska. Nobody\, least of all the band\, expected 1997’s Zoot Suit Riot to turn them into the sound of a swing revival — but the record went double platinum\, the title track climbed the Billboard chart\, and the Daddies found themselves on The Tonight Show\, Letterman\, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve\, and nominated for an MTV Video Music Award. \nIn the years since\, the band has built a second act almost nobody saw coming: a run of meticulously staged\, era-specific theatrical shows. A “Jazz Age Lawn Party” covers Roaring ’20s and Cotton Club material; a “Live at the Sands”-style production salutes the Rat Pack; and the show coming to West Bend is their World War II “Christmas Canteen” — part Tiki bar\, part Benny Goodman\, staged like a radio broadcast beamed out to soldiers in the Pacific in 1942. \nFrontman Steve Perry has described the mission behind all of it as tracing a direct line from the pre-rock American songbook — Tin Pan Alley\, hot jazz — to the band’s own modern original material\, using the standards audiences already love to open the door to the songs they don’t expect. It’s the same eight-piece horn section either way: the one that went double platinum is the one taking the stage in West Bend. \n\n\nThe Hit List \nWhat double platinum actually looks like\nA short accounting of how far one swing record traveled: \n\nZoot Suit RiotDouble platinum — over two million copies sold1997\nMTV Video Music Award NominationFor the “Zoot Suit Riot” video1998\nNational TelevisionThe Tonight Show\, Letterman\, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve\, The View1997–1998\nWhite Teeth\, Black ThoughtsFirst all-swing studio album since Zoot Suit Riot2013\nBigger Life14-song return to the band’s punk/ska roots2019\nChristmas CanteenThe WWII Tiki holiday production\, touring nationallyOngoing\n\nPress on the Daddies from the Washington Post\, USA Today\, Parade and more at daddies.com. \n\n\nTickets & Seating \nThree ways in\nEvery seat is reserved. Sara Moilanen anchors the low end on bass\, and Kimberly “Kimmy” Unger carries the fiddle lines that give the band its signature lift.
