DESCRIPTION:It’s been 25 years since the release of “Teenage Dirtbag”\, and somehow Wheatus’ now iconic debut single is arguably the biggest it’s ever been.  And to celebrate this milestone\, the band are returning to the UK and Ireland in November / December 2025 – playing their debut album in its entirety each night. \nThe last few years have been a true whirlwind for the band.  In 2022\, Teenage Dirtbag became the cornerstone of a huge TikTok movement. The “Teenage Dirtbag photos” trend has now been embraced by nearly a million people\, including celebrities such as Madonna\, Lady Gaga\, Mark Ruffalo\, Lil Nas X\, Jon Bon Jovi\, Chevy Chase\, and countless others\, resulting in the hashtag #teenagedirtbag being viewed over 2 BILLION times worldwide. And if that wasn’t enough\, in 2023\, it surprised everyone again by re-entering the UK Top 40 charts. \nAgainst all odds\, this fresh frenzy around the 25-year-old anthem has led the band to recently perform on some of the most prestigious stages of their career: Wheatus have recently shared club\, arena & festival line-ups across the world with the likes of Alice Cooper\, Blondie\, Busted\, Everclear\, Hoobastank\, Living Colour\, Phantom Planet\, The Wallflowers\, Jimmy Eat World\, Dashboard Confessional\, The 1975\, Muse\, Jack White\, Blink-182\, Paramore\, Coheed & Cambria\, and so many more. In 2023\, Wheatus embarked on what might have been an unprecedented 47 date tour of the UK and Ireland that was only a few tickets shy of completely sold out. They performed at Download Festival 2024 to an audience of over 20\,000. Brendan B Brown also squeezed in a “Dirtbags Across America” tour\, where he played intimate acoustic shows in 49 of the 50 states (Alaska – sorry\, working on it). With a lineup that has performed Rush tribute shows for over a decade across North America and around the world\, including RushCon\, RTP stands out as one of the premiere tributes to this legendary\, RnR HOF power-trio. \nUsing vintage instruments\, multi-camera projections\, state-of-the-art lighting\, and signature virtuosity\, RTP delivers an unparalleled concert experience for the casual fan as well as the most discerning Rush loyalist. \nSEAN JONES is a classically trained multi-instrumentalist\, which comes in handy when needing to cover Geddy Lee. He has played nationally and internationally in various Rush tributes over the past 20 years\, including playing for RushCon and touring army bases in Kuwait. Along with Geddy\, some of Sean’s biggest bass influences include Chris Squire and John Entwistle\, all of whom incorporated keyboards\, synth pedals\, guitars\, and other instruments into their performances. \nBILL HECK is a 37-year veteran of guitar and has been playing at some level since childhood. Bill was the proud recipient of the Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) Award for best guitarist in 2017. He has always been heavily influenced by guitar-hero rock\, hard rock\, and metal\, but always considered Rush and Alex Lifeson as the primary force behind his love for guitar playing. Bill could be considered the “new guy” in The Rush Tribute Project as he had to go through the heavy scrutiny of auditioning for the band but has happily been a member of RTP since its beginnings over eight years ago. \nTHOMAS SLAWNIK is the percussionist and has been with RTP since its start in 2013. Thomas started banging the drums at the young age of 4 and hasn’t stopped since. He has performed with several Milwaukee bands since the late ’70s. Thomas’ influences include Neil Peart and Scott Rockenfield. His current drum kit is a “Frankenstein” collection of drums and cymbals which include DW drums\, Zildjian and Sabian cymbals\, and various electronics. The kit is influenced by Rush’s R30 tour kit. That claim holds infinite validity. Mud’s father was the immortal Muddy Waters. For the last couple of decades\, Mud has followed in his beloved dad’s mammoth footsteps\, staunchly keeping the traditional Chicago blues flame alight by faithfully singing Muddy’s songs as well as plenty of his own originals in front of an all-star band of local heavy-hitters. He sauntered onto the main stage at the 2025 Chicago Blues Festival to belt his father’s “I’m Your Hoochie Coochie Man” as one of the main cogs in a gala celebration of Chess Records’ 75th anniversary\, looking and sounding every bit the heir to Muddy’s gilded throne. \nStudebaker John Grimaldi was born in an Italian-American section of Chicago and  started playing harmonica at age 7.  Under the spell of music he heard  on Maxwell Street\, Chicago’s famed blues melting pot\, Grimaldi began  performing as Studebaker John and the Hawks in the ‘70s.  The band referenced the Studebaker Hawk\, a car Grimaldi still owns today\, and was  also intended as a tribute to his friend\, J.B.
