Soon after\, Farley landed a starring role as “Doug Linus” on MTV’s sitcom 2gether where he was met with rave reviews. \nHe continues to grace TV with guest appearances on Curb Your Enthusiasm\, Drunk History\, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia\, and Superstore. Farley also voices a multitude of characters on the hit Netflix show F is for Family. \nFarley has found his way into a wide variety of feature films. He’s accomplished film credits in films such as Crowning Jules\, Frat Pack\, and Joe Dirt 2. His most recent roles have been in features such as 1up and The Truth About Santa Claus. \nWhen Farley is not writing screenplays\, producing or directing\, or on set filming\, he regularly embraces the stage in stand-up comedy. Farley usually appears as the Headline Act nationwide in clubs such as The Laugh Factory\, The Comedy Store\, and The Improv. Johnny puts on a hilarious show. He’s got everything you want from a comic: He’s silly\, he’s likeable\, and he’s fun. With a background in improvisational theater including training at Chicago’s prestigious Second City\, as well as the Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles\, Johnny brings his unique style to the stage. He has been Jim Gaffigan’s opening act on many of his theater shows\, regularly appears on the nationally syndicated Bob & Tom Show\, and his comedy can be heard regularly on XM/ Sirius Satellite radio. DESCRIPTION:Simple Men & Southern Nights\nA Tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd Southern Rock\nSimple Men and Southern Nights was formed in 2021 during the downtime of the pandemic.  Award winning entertainment producer of Magnificent Events & Entertainment and the founder of the world-renowned cover band Maggie Speaks Dave Calzaretta finally had the time to create this passion project. \n“I met Randall Hall (formerly of Lynyrd Skynyrd) back in 2018 when I started the Celebrity Sit-In Program for our corporate band Maggie Speaks.  We became great friends and I enjoyed playing this catalog and hearing his stories of life on the road with Lynyrd Skynyrd.  As I dove into the music\, I really enjoyed the intricacies of the music.  Most people think Skynyrd is three chords and the truth\, but it couldn’t be any further from that.  Each song is a crafted work of art in and of itself.  I wanted to create a project that paid homage to the group and truly highlighted the sense of detail they put into their songs.  During COVID\, I finally had the one commodity that I needed to make it happen…TIME!” \nThe dueling lead guitars of Mike Aquino and Jimmy Riley are certainly the highlights of the show.  Both have performed with a who’s who of rock and roll over their careers\, including the former lead singer of Journey Steve Augeri\, Boston’s Tommy DeCarlo\, Mike Reno of Loverboy\, Kelly Keagy of Night Ranger\, Jim Peterick of Survivor and many\, many more. \nCelebrity Guest Randall Hall (formerly of Lynyrd Skynyrd) is often added to the band to bring some star power to the shows.  Additionally\, Derek St. Holmes\, vocalist of the legendary Ted Nugent Band (“Stranglehold”) has also guested with the band. \nDisclaimer: Dancing is permitted during all shows at The Bend Theater.
