SUMMARY:The Ornaments: A Charlie Brown Christmas
DESCRIPTION:The Ornaments started in 2005 as a group of friends who wanted to play the music of the greatest holiday special ever produced — Charles Schulz’s A Charlie Brown Christmas\, scored by the immortal Vince Guaraldi. Two decades later\, their annual shows have become a holiday tradition of their own: the classic record played live from beginning to end\, recreating that feeling of settling in on a cold December night to watch Snoopy and the gang. \nPianist Jen Gunderman\, bassist James Haggerty\, and drummer Martin Lynds lead the trio through the record in full\, joined along the way by guest soloists on everything from trombone and pedal steel to harmonica\, saxophone\, and musical saw. Join in at the end for an old-fashioned Christmas carol sing-along! \nDoors open at 6:30 PM\, with the show beginning at 7:30 PM. The performance runs as two 45-minute sets with an intermission. All ages are welcome. \nTickets start at $46.20. Every seat is reserved — there is no general admission. \nPlease note all ticket sales are final.\nPlease have tickets ready upon arrival. \nThe Bend Theater\n125 N. SUMMARY:Dan Rodriguez "All I Want for Christmas Is Whiskey"
DESCRIPTION:Join us Friday\, December 11\, for an intimate evening with Minneapolis-based singer-songwriter Dan Rodriguez\, bringing his warm\, soulful brand of Americana to the historic Bend Theater stage. \nWhat to Expect \nDan’s live shows are built for listening — heartfelt storytelling\, rich acoustic arrangements\, and a voice that fills a room without needing to shout. Blending his soulful Americana sound with holiday favorites\, original songs\, and plenty of humor\, Rodriguez creates a show designed to make audiences laugh\, maybe shed a tear\, and leave feeling the holiday spirit. The set features his own arrangements of Christmas classics—including a rendition of White Christmas inspired by Willie Nelson—as well as original songs\, including the tour’s namesake\, All I Want for Christmas Is Whiskey. \nAbout Dan \nDan Rodriguez built his career in Minneapolis before trading city life for a homestead in a small Minnesota town\, where he now lives with his wife and their three homeschooled boys. When he’s not on the road or producing other artists in his home studio\, he’s likely out in the garden\, in the woods with his kids\, or tinkering with one of his many hobbies — photography\, bow hunting\, fly fishing\, woodworking\, beekeeping\, even restoring vintage motorcycles. \nThat grounded\, close-to-home way of living comes through in his music. Over the years he’s shared stages with acts like The Civil Wars\, NEEDTOBREATHE\, Andy Grammer\, Matt Nathanson\, Drew Holcomb\, Sister Hazel\, and more. His songs have found their way into television shows\, films\, and commercials — most notably when Budweiser featured his song “I’ll Be Waiting” in a national Super Bowl ad. \nWhy Come Out \nThis is a rare chance to catch an artist with major-stage credentials in a small\, historic room built for exactly this kind of night — no bad seats\, no wall of sound\, just a great songwriter and a room full of people paying attention. \nPlease note all ticket sales are final.\nPlease have tickets ready upon arrival.

SUMMARY:Joe 2.0 "Christmas Magic"
DESCRIPTION:With Special Guests Robin Pluer\, Chris Hanson\, Lynda Lee & Tim Rebers! \nThe World’s Original Rockestra is trading in its usual setlist for sleigh bells. Joe 2.0 — the electrified string quartet (two violins\, viola\, cello) plus drums that’s spent over a decade proving a string section can rock as hard as any guitar — brings its one-of-a-kind sound to The Bend for a holiday night unlike anything else on the calendar this December. \nFronting the band: Xeno\, original lead singer of Cheap Trick\, whose voice has powered Joe 2.0’s genre-blurring take on everything from Led Zeppelin to the Black Keys since the group’s founding by Milwaukee violinist Joseph Ketchum in 2011. \nThis year\, they’re not doing it alone. Christmas Magic welcomes two of Milwaukee’s most beloved musicians to the stage: \n\nRobin Pluer\, a multi-time WAMI Award winner and Shepherd Express “Best Female Vocalist\,” known citywide for the sultry French chansons she’s brought to Bastille Days for over 25 years.\nChris Hanson\, the bandleader and composer behind Milwaukee’s go-to jazz\, swing\, and rockabilly outfit.\nLynda Lee\, Milwaukee-based vocalist and driving force behind the band Fire & Ice. Known for her powerful voice and engaging stage presence\, she performs across rock\, jazz\, pop\, and soul\, bringing energy and emotion to every performance.\nTim Rebers\, Milwaukee-based versatile singer\, actor\, composer\, arranger\, conductor\, director\, and music educator\, and has appeared with organizations including Milwaukee Opera Theatre\, Skylight Music Theatre\, Florentine Opera\, Brew City Opera\, and First Stage.\n\nIt’s rock band meets orchestra meets Milwaukee’s own holiday songbook — one night only\, in a 1929 theater built for exactly this kind of magic. \n🎄 Saturday\, December 12\, 2026\n🕡 Doors 6:30 PM · Show 7:30–10:00 PM\n📍 The Bend Theater\, 125 N. Main St.\, West Bend\, WI 53095\n🎟️ Tickets start from $25 · Premium table seating $37 \nChristmas Magic is a strictly one-night engagement. SUMMARY:Cherry Poppin' Daddies — Tiki Xmas WWII Canteen
DESCRIPTION:Live at The Bend · West Bend\, Wisconsin \nCherry Poppin’ Daddies \nTiki Xmas — A WWII Canteen Christmas \n\nDouble Platinum\n8-Piece Horn Band\nTwo 50-Minute Sets\nAll Ages\n\nThe horn section behind “Zoot Suit Riot” imagines what a Christmas radio broadcast beamed to soldiers at a USO show in the South Pacific might have sounded like in 1944 — Benny Goodman-style big-band holiday swing\, a Tiki torch lit underneath it\, and the Daddies dressed like grunts on shore leave. \n\n\n\nOne Night Only \nFriday \nDecember 18\, 2026 \n6:30 PMDoors\n7:30 PMShow\nGet Tickets \n\n\n\n\n\n“The Daddies’ high-energy swing music has the unique ability to bring generations together — it’s the only band where teenagers and grandparents are dancing in the same audience.” \nCBS 58\, Milwaukee \n\n\n\nHear It First \nWhat a 1944 South Pacific Christmas sounded like\nThe official trailer for the Tiki Xmas show itself — swing\, Tiki\, and a WWII USO broadcast all at once. \nCherry Poppin’ Daddies: Christmas Canteen \nThe official show reel. \n\n\n\nThirty-Five Years\, One Horn Section \nFrom a Eugene punk band to double platinum\, and back to the stage in period costume\nThe Cherry Poppin’ Daddies formed in Eugene\, Oregon in 1989\, a punk band that couldn’t help mixing in jazz\, funk and ska. Nobody\, least of all the band\, expected 1997’s Zoot Suit Riot to turn them into the sound of a swing revival — but the record went double platinum\, the title track climbed the Billboard chart\, and the Daddies found themselves on The Tonight Show\, Letterman\, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve\, and nominated for an MTV Video Music Award. \nIn the years since\, the band has built a second act almost nobody saw coming: a run of meticulously staged\, era-specific theatrical shows. A “Jazz Age Lawn Party” covers Roaring ’20s and Cotton Club material; a “Live at the Sands”-style production salutes the Rat Pack; and the show coming to West Bend is their World War II “Christmas Canteen” — part Tiki bar\, part Benny Goodman\, staged like a radio broadcast beamed out to soldiers in the Pacific in 1942. \nFrontman Steve Perry has described the mission behind all of it as tracing a direct line from the pre-rock American songbook — Tin Pan Alley\, hot jazz — to the band’s own modern original material\, using the standards audiences already love to open the door to the songs they don’t expect. It’s the same eight-piece horn section either way: the one that went double platinum is the one taking the stage in West Bend. \n\n\nThe Hit List \nWhat double platinum actually looks like\nA short accounting of how far one swing record traveled: \n\nZoot Suit RiotDouble platinum — over two million copies sold1997\nMTV Video Music Award NominationFor the “Zoot Suit Riot” video1998\nNational TelevisionThe Tonight Show\, Letterman\, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve\, The View1997–1998\nWhite Teeth\, Black ThoughtsFirst all-swing studio album since Zoot Suit Riot2013\nBigger Life14-song return to the band’s punk/ska roots2019\nChristmas CanteenThe WWII Tiki holiday production\, touring nationallyOngoing\n\nPress on the Daddies from the Washington Post\, USA Today\, Parade and more at daddies.com. \n\n\nTickets & Seating \nThree ways in\nEvery seat is reserved. SUMMARY:A WhiskeyBelles Christmas 2026
DESCRIPTION:The Bend Theater — Saturday\, December 19\, 2026 \nA WhiskeyBelles\nChristmas\nMilwaukee’s roots-country trio brings fiddle\, harmony\, and a little whiskey-soaked holiday wit back to West Bend for one night only. \n\n\n\nDoors\n6:30 PM\nShow\n7:30–10:00 PM\, two sets\nVenue\n125 N. Main St.\, West Bend\, WI\nTickets\nStarting at $22.51\n\n\n\n\n\nThe WhiskeyBelles are Milwaukee’s own gin-hall trio — Hank Williams passion\, Carter Family harmony\, and a little Hee Haw mixed in for good measure. This December\, they bring their holiday show back to The Bend Theater: original songs from their Christmas record alongside their own spin on the seasonal standards\, all played with the same close three-part harmony and hot fiddle that’s made them a Wisconsin favorite for over a decade. \n\n\nWho’s on Stage\n\n\nChrissy Dzioba plays guitar and sings lead and harmony. Sara Moilanen anchors the low end on bass\, and Kimberly “Kimmy” Unger carries the fiddle lines that give the band its signature lift. Together they trade vintage country\, folk-revival\, and roots-country covers with sharp\, witty originals of their own — a sound that’s drawn comparisons to the Pistol Annies\, the Dixie Chicks\, and Trio (Dolly Parton\, Emmylou Harris & Linda Ronstadt). \nAlong the way\, they’ve sung the national anthem at Lambeau Field\, held down a regular Summerfest slot\, and opened for the likes of Charlie Daniels and the Kentucky Headhunters. \n\n“Blessed with decent chops\, excellent harmonies\, and outstanding camaraderie and charisma — the WhiskeyBelles delight audiences every night out.”— Scene262.com \n\nOn record\n\nWhiskey Woman2012\nNothin’ Says Christmas Like Whiskey2013\nTales From the Bootleggers’ Ball2015\, live\nDance in the Moonshine2017\n\nRecognition\nWAMI — Americana/Bluegrass Artist of the Year·WAMI — People’s Choice Award·Shepherd Express — Best of Milwaukee\, Bluegrass Band \n\n\nPlan Your Visit\n\nAddress\n125 N. As crowds outgrew the bars\, the band expanded and word spread across the Midwest\, and for three decades running they’ve kept answering the call. \nThe lineup draws from some of Chicago’s strongest working musicians\, and their commitment to Dave Matthews Band’s musicianship and improvisational spirit has carried them well past the typical tribute-act circuit and into full concert productions — the kind of theaters and rooms DMB itself once played. \nWhether the crowd is full of diehard fans or first-timers along for the ride\, Trippin’ Billies builds a show around the same energy and extended jams that made the original band famous — and they bring all of it to West Bend for one night in December. \n\n \n\nCareer Highlights \nThree Decades on the Road\nA track record built one theater at a time. \n\nNation’s Longest-Touring DMB TributeContinuously touring since forming as an acoustic duo in the mid-1990sOngoing\nRelix MagazineNamed among the top five Dave Matthews Band tribute acts in the countryPress\nTheater & Arena CircuitRegular stops in mid-size theaters and arenas across the Midwest and beyondOngoing\nChicago’s BestLineup built from some of the city’s most in-demand working musiciansOngoing\nThe Bend TheaterOne night only in West Bend\, WisconsinDec 30\, 2026\n\nLearn more at trippinbillies.com. \n\n\nTickets & Seating \nThree Ways In\nReserved seating and table seating — pick your spot. \n\n$35Reserved Seating65 seats\n$40Reserved Seating279 seats\n$47Table Seating16 seats\n\nTotal capacity 360. SUMMARY:Trapper Schoepp's Tom Petty Tribute
DESCRIPTION:A new generation of Heartbreakers will soon take our stage—led by Wisconsin singer-songwriter Trapper Schoepp. \n“For me\, it’s about being a link in the chain of musicians before and after my time\,” Trapper says. “Tom Petty’s music has been a soundtrack through much of my life\, and bringing his songs to life is a joy—for me and for audiences.” \nBacked by a four-piece band\, Trapper delivers the full range of the Tom Petty catalog—from the fired-up urgency of “American Girl” and “Refugee” to the intimate beauty of “Wildflowers” and “Walls.” The performances honor the spirit\, swing\, and soul of the originals while allowing the band’s chemistry and care to shine through. \nSchoepp’s connection to Petty’s world runs deep. His latest album\, Siren Songs\, was recorded at Johnny Cash’s historic Cash Cabin—the same space where Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers served as Cash’s backing band on the Grammy-winning Unchained (American Recordings II). He has also released tender\, atmospheric recordings of “Free Fallin’” and “Walls\,” further cementing his reputation as a thoughtful interpreter of Petty’s work. \nBeyond the tribute\, Schoepp brings an acclaimed original career. In 2019\, he released a long-lost song co-written with Bob Dylan\, making him the youngest artist to share a writing credit with the Nobel Prize laureate. The release sparked a #1 trending article in Rolling Stone and led to over 100 tour dates worldwide. \nSchoepp has released five albums\, collaborating with members of Wilco\, The Raconteurs\, and The Jayhawks. PBS praised his songs as “story songs that explore and explode the conventions of rock and roll\,” while Rolling Stone France called his work a “charming 100% Americana opus.” \nAn international touring artist\, Schoepp has shared stages with The Wallflowers\, Three Dog Night\, Old 97’s\, The Jayhawks\, and Frank Turner\, performing at iconic venues including New York’s Town Hall\, Los Angeles’ Roxy Theatre\, and SXSW. \nPlease note all ticket sales are final.\nPlease have ticket ready upon arrival.

They are also disrupters of tradition … whose work has jolted country\, pulling the genre in new directions stylistically\, sonically\, even politically.” \nThe New York Times\, on Brandy Clark\, Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne \n\n\n\nHear Her First \nTwo songs\, start to finish\nThe new single and the one that finally won her a Grammy. Both are in the show. \n“American Roots” \nFilmed at Gold-Diggers Sound in Los Angeles for Salt Lick Sessions. \n\n“Dear Insecurity” featuring Brandi Carlile \nLive from The Gorge. Winner of Best Americana Performance at the 66th Grammy Awards. \n\n\n\nSeventeen Nominations\, Then a Win \nNashville’s songwriter’s songwriter finally took one home\nFor most of a decade Brandy Clark was the name on the credits rather than the marquee — seventeen Grammy nominations without a win\, while the songs she wrote turned into hits for everybody else. That ended in 2024\, when “Dear Insecurity\,” her duet with Brandi Carlile\, took Best Americana Performance and then Song of the Year at the Americana Honors & Awards. \nThe record it came from — 2023’s self-titled Brandy Clark\, produced by Carlile — got the kind of reviews artists frame. Forbes called it “an Americana masterpiece.” Variety wrote that it “further clarifies that she’s one of America’s treasures.” In 2026 The New York Times Magazine named her\, alongside her longtime collaborators Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne\, one of the 30 Greatest Living American Songwriters. \nShe arrives in West Bend behind the bird (Reprise Records)\, eleven songs written with McAnally\, Jessie Jo Dillon and Sean McConnell\, produced by Shooter Jennings at Sunset Sound in Los Angeles. The first single\, “American Roots\,” was written in the shadow of Woody Guthrie’s “This Land Is Your Land” — and has been pulling mid-song standing ovations out of audiences on the road. \nHer other job is writing hits for the rest of Nashville. And her other other job is Broadway: she and McAnally wrote the score for Shucked\, which earned nine Tony nominations\, a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Music\, and a Tony nod for Best Original Score. \n\n\nThe Catalog \nYou already know her work\nA short list of songs and shows with her name in the writing credits: \n\nMama’s Broken HeartRecorded by Miranda LambertFour the Record\, 2011\nFollow Your ArrowRecorded by Kacey MusgravesSame Trailer Different Park\, 2013\nA Beautiful NoiseRecorded by Brandi Carlile & Alicia KeysGrammy-nominated\nTrailblazerCo-written with Lainey Wilson and Miranda LambertGrammy-nominated\nDear InsecurityHer own\, featuring Brandi CarlileGrammy winner · Americana Song of the Year\nShuckedBroadway score\, written with Shane McAnallyDrama Desk win · Tony nominee\n\nMore at brandyclarkmusic.com. \n\n\nTickets & Seating \nFour ways in\nEvery seat is reserved.
