Each Wednesday\, guests can bring their favorite record to The Bend from 5-8 PM and enjoy drink specials and hear vinyl on The Bend’s state of the art sound system while playing an assortment of retro video games on our big screen.  \nSome fun promotional specials will also be running during these events. If guests bring a record to add to the queue\, they get 50% off their first drink and 50% off while their record plays. If that record is accompanied by a receipt from The Exclusive Company (from within the past 14 days) that guest’s first drink is free and they get 50% drinks off while their record spins. So there’s plenty of incentive to head to The Exclusive Company and pick up a new vinyl record to bring to The Bend’s Vinyl & Video Games & Whiskey Wednesdays.  \nAdditionally\, there will be prizes each week for the retro video game competitions. DESCRIPTION:ABOUT IAN BAGG \nIan Bagg started his comedy career in his native country Canada. He proceeded to do all the show business things that every successful Canadian entertainer does. He went to a “Hockey Night in Canada” game on a Saturday night performed at the Montreal Comedy Festival kissed a fish in New Foundland and a Comedy Now special on CTV. So what does a Canadian do when he has done it all? He boards a train to New York City lives in a youth hostel and ends up on Late Night with Conan O’Brien\, The Late Late show with Craig Ferguson\, and Tonight Show with Jay Leno. It is not always fun and games. He was forced to do Make Me Laugh\, Showcase Comics with Louie Anderson\, Fridays on NBC\, and the Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn. Life has been amazing for Bagg being on such diverse platforms as History Channel\, Food Network\, Biography Channel and being the first ever Canadian to meet three US presidents– Ronald Reagan Jimmy Carter and George Bush… although only one was in the White House at the time while he met one on a plane and the other at a hockey practice. \nIan went to school to be an explosives engineer but a lucky chance at an open mic made him the volatile one. He may be in your area sooner than you think because this man-child does over 100\,000 air miles a year…or you could listen to his radio/podcast show on XM Radio channel 160 or The Toadhopnetwork (The Ian Bagg Show.) DESCRIPTION:Larry McCray quickly ascended the hierarchy of the blues and roots world\, not just as a guitarist who could slay but also as an impassioned singer who could knock out audiences with his soulful\, barrel-chested vocals.\n\nOver the past three decades of nonstop touring and recording\, Larry has played and shared the stage with such blues and rock greats as BB King\, Buddy Guy\, Albert King\, John Mayall\, Johnny Winter\, Albert Collins\, Robert Cray\, Keb Mo\, Jonny Lang\, Joe Walsh\, Levon Helm\, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Joe Bonamassa. No stranger to the deep and endless world of the jam band universe either\, Larry is beloved by and has performed with many of the greats in that world\, including The Allman Brothers Band\, Gov’t Mule\, Phil Lesh\, Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes\, and countless others.\n\nNow\, with the release of his new album Blues Without You (March 25\, 2022)\, Larry McCray is poised to re-emerge as one our great American roots and blues performers. In 2011 Davina released her first full length\, all original album Black Cloud . It was named one of the 10 best releases of the year by the Minneapolis Star & Tribune and awarded 4 ½ stars from Downbeat Magazine. Their next release in 2014\, Sunshine\, hit number 13 in the Billboard Blues Chart and led them to landing a performance on the hit BBC2 show\, Later with Jools Holland. \nDATV’s shows are filled with New Orleans charm\, Memphis soul swagger\, dark theatrical moments that evoke Kurt Weill\, and tender gospel passages. Davina’s voice and stage presence defy category in a different way. Davina has been compared to Etta James\, Amy Winehouse\, Janis Joplin\, Billie Holiday and Betty Boop\, but comparisons don’t suffice: Sowers is a true original. \nBringing you 100 years of American music and Davina’s originals\, which lend themselves to the American Songbook\, the band brings edgy nostalgia to older generations and fresh new music to younger ears. Bobby’s material pulls from his real-life experiences as a firefighter and EMT\, past relationships\, wildly embarrassing moments and the absurd. \n  \nAn experienced improviser and sketch performer\, Bobby was also a cast member and the head monologue writer for STL Up Late\, an interactive late-night talk show which ran on St. Louis’ CBS TV affiliate (KMOV).
