We will do our best to bring them back for a future show\, and will keep you posted when that happens! \n—————————————————————————————————— \nSun Silo is a four piece art rock group based in Kenosha Wisconsin. Combining elements of psychedelic rock\, jazz\, and dream pop\, the group maintains to write and release music with an explorative spirit and lighthearted creativity. \nFormed in March of 2018\, the group has recorded and released one single entitled “Easy Now” \, a three track EP entitled “Three By Four”\, and a two track single entitled “Oddly Even”. The band takes a hands on approach to every aspect of their output. From writing\, recording\, mixing\, mastering\, visual artwork\, and design\, the group produces and arranges all of their own work. \n“The visual elements that go hand in hand with releasing music are important to us. We do take it seriously but at the same time we have a very relaxed approach to how we produce our artwork. I think this allows us to stay productive and healthy.” AWJ \nSun Silo continues to write original music\, perform\, and record. With a full length’s-worth of material already written\, they intend to begin recording\, releasing\, and touring this material. Presented with support from the HomeTown Foundation and the Regner Rocks summer concert series\, we are excited to showcase Jesus Villa and the Unrulies and their rock country sounds. \nIf there’s a dive bar at the corner of Country and Rock\, The Unrulies would be the house band. The Unrulies are a motley crew of experienced musicians that assembled in early 2022 as the backing band for Jesús Villa. \nJesús Villa is a Milwaukee-based singer-songwriter whose songs speak to your heart before getting stuck in your head. He has performed regularly around southeastern Wisconsin for over ten years\, and his songs have been featured on local independent radio. \nThe concert starts about 9 p.m. Doors open at least one hour prior. WE BELIEVE GUITARS CAN HELP THE HEALING PROCESS. \nMusic helps decrease anxiety\, increase self-esteem\, and reduce episodes of panic attacks\, nightmares\, and flashbacks. A research study of Guitars 4 Vets students showed a 21% improvement in PTSD symptoms and a 27% decrease in related depression symptoms. The study attributed learning and playing guitar as the primary catalysts for these improvements—and we want to ensure as many vets as possible have that opportunity. \nMore simply\, playing the guitar can help veterans safely connect with their surroundings and other people. \n \nHOW? \nJoin us for a night of music\, guitars\, pass the hat fundraising\, and some of the finest folks you will ever meet. The Historic West Bend Theatre\, known as “The Bend” sets a perfect background for a world-class music event\, Guitars 4 Vets supplies the noble mission of supporting our veterans that have returned home\, and West Bend Mutual Insurance Company provides the sponsoring support needed to pull it all off. \nWe need you to bring your guitars to donate\, your friends\, and some dollars to support our veterans. \nFeatured Bands include Tangled Lines\, Kharma Shotgun\, and Listening Party.

DESCRIPTION:Two married comedians host their own live spin-off version of The Newlywed Game\, where 3 couples compete to show who knows each other best.  \n\nRachel Mac and Devin Blake\, two married comedians living in Jackson\, will open the night with a joint stand-up set discussing their marriage and parenting. \nThen\, one at a time\, they will bring the 3 competing couples onstage for a brief interview. Once the couples have been introduced\, the competition begins! Each person in each couple will have already answered questions about their spouse\, and Rachel and Devin will go over these questions\, one by one. For example\, they will start by bringing out one of the wives and go over her answer to a question like “Who is your celebrity crush?” The wife will give her answer\, THEN her husband will come out and guess her answer. If the answers match\, that couple gets a point. After a number of these questions\, Rachel and Devin will take a break to talk to the audience and ask them which couple they think is going to win and why. Then they will return for the second round of the game\, where we’ll hear answers from the men and then ask their wives to guess. The winning couple will be able to tell their great-grandchildren that they were the best couple in all of Washington County! \nRachel Mac is a writer and comedian who has appeared on Comedy Central’s Lights Out With David Spade and who has written for SyFy’s The Movie Show. After growing up in Wisconsin\, she spent almost a decade in Los Angeles\, where her comedy career began. \nDevin Blake is a standup comedian who also contributes to The Onion and New York Magazine. He is a recent transplant to Wisconsin and is really enjoying the area and getting used to all the roundabouts.\nThis show is designated for 18+.
