SUMMARY:Albert Cummings with special guest Maple Road Blues
DESCRIPTION:Albert Cummings is an American blues guitarist\, singer\, and songwriter whose commanding guitar work and soulful vocals have made him a standout in the contemporary blues scene. Born and raised in Massachusetts\, Cummings developed a deep passion for music at an early age\, beginning on the banjo and bluegrass before being captivated by the electric blues influences of legends such as Stevie Ray Vaughan\, B.B. King\, and Jimi Hendrix. \nAlthough trained as a builder and master carpenter\, Cummings’ musical path took shape with his first public blues performance in the late 1990s and his debut album\, The Long Way\, released independently in 2000 with his band Swamp Yankee. His dynamic fusion of blues\, rock\, and storytelling soon drew attention. When members of Vaughan’s former rhythm section—bass legend Tommy Shannon and drummer Chris Layton—volunteered to play on his 2003 solo debut From the Heart\, the blues world took notice. \nSigning with the revered blues label Blind Pig Records\, Cummings released albums such as True to Yourself (2004) and Working Man (2006)\, the latter cementing his reputation as a touring force and recording artist of significant range and impact. Over the years\, he has shared stages with blues luminaries such as B.B. King\, Johnny Winter\, and Buddy Guy\, further broadening his musical reach. \nIn his later work\, Cummings continues to evolve. Albums like Believe (2020) and TEN (2022) showcase a deeper sonic palette while remaining rooted in the soul of the blues. His most recent release\, Strong (2024)\, debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues Chart\, further underscoring his status as a modern torchbearer for the genre and a master craftsman of heartfelt\, high-energy blues. \nMaple Road Blues Band:\nBy presenting an eclectic blend of blues\, rock\, and folk jams\, Maple Road is a band that does not fall short of keeping an audience entertained and intrigued.  While honoring musical heroes and legends\, the group also strives to craft original and memorable tunes that allow each band member and the audience to interpret the music. \nPlease note all ticket sales are final.\nPlease have tickets ready upon arrival.

His breakout came fast: in 2012 he was tapped as one of Comedy Central’s Comics to Watch at the New York Comedy Festival and made a splash as a new face at Montreal’s Just for Laughs. \nThat momentum carried him to NBC\, where he spent Season 39 of Saturday Night Live as both a writer and a cast member. Since then he’s done stand-up on Late Night with Seth Meyers and CONAN\, taped a half-hour for Comedy Central\, and turned up on HBO’s Girls. His debut album\, This Is Cool\, Right?\, reached No. 1 on the iTunes comedy chart\, and his latest hour\, Alive in Alaska\, arrived in 2024. \nOnstage he’s loose\, honest and happy to be the butt of the joke. He’s since shared stages with Hootie & the Blowfish\, Collective Soul\, and Train\, and turned up in an unlikely spot in 2025: disguised as Nessy the Loch Ness Monster on The Masked Singer\, where he made it all the way to the Final Five. \nAfter fifteen years away from the studio\, McCain returned in 2025 with Lucky\, a ten-song album he co-produced with Lee Brice and Jerrod Niemann that moves easily between blues\, soul\, rock\, and folk — from the driving opener “Chasing a Memory” to the ache of “Love Me or Leave Me Alone.” West Bend gets the stripped-back version: McCain and his trio\, acoustic\, with nowhere for a great song to hide. \nCalled a “great American romantic” by The New York Times\, McCain has also picked up a newer audience through TikTok\, where his dry\, self-deprecating videos with his daughter have gone properly viral. On November 7\, all of it — the hits\, the new record\, the humor — comes to The Bend stage for one night only. \n\n\nThe Hit List \nCareer highlights\nThree decades of radio hits\, big stages\, and a few surprises along the way. \n\n“I’ll Be”Peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 1001998\n“I Could Not Ask For More”Top 40 hit; featured on the Message in a Bottle soundtrack1999\nNational touringShared stages with Hootie & the Blowfish\, Collective Soul\, and TrainOngoing\nThe Masked SingerPerformed as Nessy the Loch Ness Monster\, reached the Final Five2025\nLuckyFirst full studio album in 15 years\, co-produced with Lee Brice & Jerrod Niemann2025\nLive at The Bend TheaterAcoustic Trio\, one night onlyNov 7\, 2026\n\nMore at edwin.com. \n\n\nTickets & Seating \nFour ways in\nReserved seating throughout — every seat has a clear view of the stage. \n\nSold Out$85Table Seating16 seats\n$75Premium Reserved28 seatsLimited Availability\n$55Reserved274 seats\n$39Value Reserved42 seats\n\nTotal capacity 360. SUMMARY:Kody West w/ Special Guest (TBA)
DESCRIPTION:DAY 2 OF THE ORIGINAL COUNTRY GOLD ROWDY WEEKEND! Presented by: “Your Community Station” WTKM 104.9 FM & “The Original Country Gold” with Rowdy Yates. Texas country star Kody West hits The Bend Theater Friday\, Nov. 13 at 8 PM — general admission\, full bar\, tickets on sale now. \nGet Tickets \nWho Is Kody West?\nKody West grew up in Denton\, Texas\, listening to country legends like Johnny Cash. He picked up a guitar at nine years old and mostly taught himself to play. His first gigs weren’t fancy. He played taco shops and any bar with a patio that would give him a couple of hours. \nThen he did something smart. He took a job as tour manager for Texas artist Dalton Domino. He learned the music business from the inside — booking shows\, loading gear\, and watching how it’s done. Soon he was opening the shows himself. In 2016\, he released his first EP\, Higher Ground\, and fans took notice fast. \nHis 2017 debut album\, Green\, put him on the map alongside Texas country names like Koe Wetzel and Flatland Cavalry. Since then\, he’s released the albums Overgrown and Circles\, recorded a live album at the world-famous Billy Bob’s Texas\, and shared stages with Whiskey Myers\, Koe Wetzel\, and Charlie Robison. He and his band have played more than 400 shows across the country\, including plenty of sold-out rooms. \nHis sound mixes classic country storytelling with the crunch of late-’90s rock. One boot in the red dirt\, the other on a fuzz pedal. His songs rack up millions of streams because they feel real — songs about hard work\, heartbreak\, and hanging on. \n“We’ve been plugging away\, just playing shows ever since — just slowly growing.” — Kody West\nHear the New Single: “Oxygen”\nKody’s new single “Oxygen” is out now\, and it shows exactly where his sound is headed — big hooks\, raw vocals\, and lyrics that hit home. Watch the official music video below\, then picture hearing it live from just a few feet away. \n\nKody West — “Oxygen” (Official Music Video) \nTwo Fan Favorites You’ll Hear Live\n“Green”\nThe title track from his debut album. Fans know it by its chorus — “together but alone” — and they sing that line back at him at every show. It’s the song that turned listeners into a fan community. \n\nKody West — “Green” (from the album Green) \n“Million Miles”\nDark\, driving\, and built for a live crowd. “Million Miles” is one of his most-streamed songs and a highlight of every show. \n\nKody West — “Million Miles” (from the album Green) \nDo Your Homework Before the Show\nWant to sing along on November 13? Spotify has an official playlist called “This Is Kody West” with all his essential tracks in one place. Give it a few spins on your way to work this week. Find it on Kody West’s Spotify page\, along with the new single “Oxygen” and his full catalog. \nWhy You Should Be There\nKody West built his career on live shows. He’s played arenas and festival stages\, but a 360-seat room is where this music hits hardest. Every seat at The Bend is close to the stage. You’ll feel the drums in your chest and catch every word. \nHe’s also known as one of the most fan-friendly artists in Texas music. He’s the kind of performer who sticks around after the show to shake hands and say thanks. This is your chance to catch a rising star in an intimate room — before the venues get bigger and the tickets get harder to grab. \n\nShow Details\n\nDate Friday\, November 13\nShow 8:00 PM\nSeating General admission — arrive early for the best spot\nBar Full bar for all your beverage needs\nVenue The Bend Theater\, 125 N.
