DESCRIPTION:River’s Bend Blues Revival Weekend\nA two-day festival of live Blues music you don’t want to miss!\nBuy a ticket for day 1 (Friday\, 4/17/2026) or day 2 (Saturday\, 4/18/2026) OR buy a 2-day pass to experience both nights!\nNight 2 features Mud Morganfield and Studebaker John & The Hawks\, with special performance hosts\, Rory & Jenny of Maple Road Blues! \n“I was born in the blues\,” states Mud Morganfield emphatically. That claim holds infinite validity. Mud’s father was the immortal Muddy Waters. For the last couple of decades\, Mud has followed in his beloved dad’s mammoth footsteps\, staunchly keeping the traditional Chicago blues flame alight by faithfully singing Muddy’s songs as well as plenty of his own originals in front of an all-star band of local heavy-hitters. He sauntered onto the main stage at the 2025 Chicago Blues Festival to belt his father’s “I’m Your Hoochie Coochie Man” as one of the main cogs in a gala celebration of Chess Records’ 75th anniversary\, looking and sounding every bit the heir to Muddy’s gilded throne. \nStudebaker John Grimaldi was born in an Italian-American section of Chicago and  started playing harmonica at age 7.  Under the spell of music he heard  on Maxwell Street\, Chicago’s famed blues melting pot\, Grimaldi began  performing as Studebaker John and the Hawks in the ‘70s.  The band referenced the Studebaker Hawk\, a car Grimaldi still owns today\, and was  also intended as a tribute to his friend\, J.B. Hutto and the Hawks. \nWeekend Performance Hosts\nFormed in 2007 and rooted in Southeast Wisconsin\, Maple Road delivers a unique high energy blend of blues\, rock & classic rock for your venue or private event. \nPlease note all ticket sales are final.\nPlease have ticket ready upon arrival.
