DESCRIPTION:Rucksack Revolution w/ special guest opener Boo Bradley\nRucksack Revolution: \nRucksack Revolution is the melding of two of Wisconsin’s most recognized modern singer-songwriters. Adam Greuel\, of the high-energy string band Horseshoes & Hand Grenades\, and Sarah Vos\, of the folk-inspired Dead Horses\, draw from broad musical influences ranging from Leonard Cohen to Fleetwood Mac to Gillian Welch & David Rawlings\, to bring you a show that will be mostly focused on original material. The duo’s chemistry as musical partners and dear friends is apparent as their music features tight harmonies\, introspective lyricism\, and soaring melodies. \nBoo Bradley: \nBoo Bradley is a good time two-man Hokum junk and jive orchestra who are as fun to watch as they are to listen to. Meeting up a few years back\, Boo Mullarky and Bradley Selz took to Madison\, Wisconsin’s illustrious State Street with the full intention of bringing the rollicking sounds and antics of the early 20th century jug bands back to life. They quickly became known as the go-to act for fun in the sun at Madison’s legendary farmers’ market and soon were being asked to perform at festivals and shows around the US. This refreshing “little jug band that could” features a delightfully rich and clunky sonic pallet that is sure to cure what ails you! \nBoo is a one-human music machine all unto himself: steadily stomping suitcase drum with one foot\, snapping a tambourine with the other\, giving a gratuitous car horn blast here and there\, providing sassy brass section solos on kazoo… all while singing and fingerpicking along on a steel-bodied resonator guitar! \nBradley is the duo’s award-winning rhythmsmith. He lets his thimble-clad digits dance away on a washboard bedecked with a curious assortment of kitchenware\, bike bells and splash cymbal – a veritable xylophone of junk! \nShow begins at 7:30pm.
